Class I medicals

The Class II medicals consist of a large number of medical tests which the doctor prescribes . These medical tests are to be done from a a good hospital or pathological clinic , usually your medical examiner will suggest you from where to get them done . All the tests can be completed for not more than Rs 2000 . The Medical tests generally consist of :

1. ECG
2. EEG
3. Blood Tests
4. Urine Tests
5. Audiometry
6.Various Vision Tests

More tests may be added if the examiner is not satisfied .

Once all the reports have been verified by the examiner , they are put together to make a big record of you which is the PMR .

Class II medicals are good enough but getting your INITIAL Class I medicals done just for mental satisfaction is advisable .

They are a bit different and can for many people as I have seen be quiet a headache . So they should never be taken lightly .

They are primarily conducted in three places
1.Delhi
2.Jorhat
3.Bangalore

However now a days they are also being carried out at several private hospitals in Delhi and in Mumbai .

1.You need to first get a date at any of these centers with respect to your file number .
2.Then You need to have your PMR forwarded from DGCA .
This can be done by several means , by calling them up , emailing , or using the following link .

But as we all know personal Attn is always required to get it done right and on time .

Word of advice if u have doubts about your medical , try and avoid AFCME Delhi because there's a notion that Class I medicals toughest there .

Through all this you will definitely get well acquainted with DGCA and its working as it is important throughout the whole training phase . Once your Class I medicals are finished its time to move on .
